If I keep up letting myself be restricted to an arbitrary letter-count, the twitter stuff may become even something permanent...

... great, this little embedded video in the last post screwed up my otherwise clean strict xhtml :( Why are these big platforms always so backwards?
So: Don't click on the logo in the lower left to see my shame. I'm serious. I might do something nasty with your socks if you don't obey! ... !

Haha, a bunch of students from my university made a LipDub about the LMU. It's admittedly a little goofy (you don't need to understand German to grasp that, right?) but I'm proud of them anyways. Hach, the life of a student...

I'm worried about the internet in Germany. Why? There will be a new law soon that gives the federal police of Germany the power to make any site on the web unreachable to the unskilled user. At the same time noone is allowed to see which sites were blocked this way. It might be something illegal today - and tomorrow CNN.com. Even worse, if you try to load one of these blocked pages, you are tracked by the police which might then start to investigate you. By the way: Click!. Yes, if I wanted to, you would be a suspect now, too (unless you were too clever to click on every damn link). And the woman behind all that has the perfect argument: This is only to protect children from perverts. Funny, even the police themselves said that this law won't help anything in that direction. It will, however, make the internet a place of fear. And politicians still wonder why young people don't trust the state anymore.
Well, we can still hope that the state magistrates stay as skilled regarding IT as today...
And this disclaimer is now actually necessary (which proves: they win :( ): I am, as anyone, against child pornography. Fight these bastards! But stasi-like fear-censorship is not the way.
More info is here on "zensursula.net". This is not paranoia or conspiration-bullshit. We are losing freedom again. And most times in history, there was no peaceful way to get it back..
